FAR/AIM - FAA Pilot Reference App Reviews

For professionals that have an interaction with certification process it is very usefull!

This app is usefull and pragmatic for flight test instruction, and the automatic updates make it easy to keep up with all the new amendments releases.

Its a great tool for pilots to be updated with Far and Aim.

Another example of an app that takes your money then wont update without a hassle. It would be real easy to double my order but I cant figure out how to get the update. Im gonna let this die and buy the book...

Long story short this app has been nothing but trouble its a waste of money and updating is a total pain Ive never gotten it to work well and when it does its not organized well.

The indenting of the sections makes it much easier to read. As a CFII, its very practical app.

Quick and easy! Saves carrying and continuously buying an up to date FAR/AIM. DPE was impressed at its ease of use.

I have set a goal to read the entire AIM this year. I like the fact that the app saves where I left off so I can read a page whenever I have a minute.

A very needed reference book in an easy to use electronic format. Saves me carrying a large cumbersome book to class and gives me the information much faster.

Would like to have the ability to view and scroll through an entire Part at one time, instead of just one section at a time. Ex: Be able to read Part 91 in its entirety not just 91.1, then back up, select 91.7, and so on.

Great app. Easy to lookup the FAR to answer the pilots lounge arguments.

This resource has been very useful on a daily basis for me. I am both a military and civilian pilot and I use this App almost exclusively from the paper copy! Its a must have on your IPad or phone!

Solid program for the experienced and well as the those entering the aviation field. I work for a major FAA domestic repair station with ODA authority and this is incredibly useful tool. I also teach part time at the nearby A&P school so this program is essential. Easy and complete search capability. Makes writing lessons much easier with the information at my finger tips.
